About Bingo Hounds

We’re an independent UK bingo guide, run by a bingo player for bingo players. We sniff out licensed bingo sites, read the small print so you don’t have to, and tell you straight what’s worth your time.

18+ only · Only UK Gambling Commission-licensed sites

Meet Claudia, our editor

Claudia has been playing bingo for more than 20 years. It started with nights at her local bingo hall – the dabbers, the regulars, the caller’s patter – and these days includes the occasional brilliant, chaotic Bongo’s Bingo night out with friends.

Most of the time, though, she plays online: once or twice a week, for half an hour or so, just for fun. Over the years she’s tried dozens of sites and seen every kind of bonus, from genuinely good offers to ones buried in confusing terms.

Claudia treats bingo as entertainment, never as a way to make money. She sets a budget before she plays and never spends more than she can afford. That’s the attitude behind everything on Bingo Hounds.

Why we started Bingo Hounds

Search for “best bingo sites” and you’ll find hundreds of lists, many of them out of date, packed with offers that have long since changed, or hiding the terms that really matter. We wanted a guide that’s simple, honest and up to date – the kind of advice you’d get from a friend who’s been playing for years.

Since January 2026, the Gambling Commission has capped bonus wagering at 10x and banned offers that mix different types of gambling. That’s made bingo bonuses fairer – but the details still vary a lot between sites, and that’s exactly what we check.

What we do – and what we don’t

We do

  • List only sites licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, with their licence numbers
  • Show the key bonus terms – wagering, minimum deposit, expiry – next to every offer
  • Re-check offers every month and date our updates
  • Explain how bingo and bonuses work in plain English
  • Point you to safer gambling tools and free support

We don’t

  • Run a bingo site or take bets – we’re a guide only
  • Promise wins or suggest bingo is a way to make money
  • Let commission decide our ratings or the order of our lists
  • List unlicensed or offshore sites
  • Target or accept anyone under 18

How we choose and rate bingo sites

Every site is checked against the same six things: its licence, the fairness of its bonus terms, its bingo rooms and games, payments and withdrawal times, how well it works on a phone, and its safer gambling tools. You can see the full criteria and our current top picks on our home page.

How Bingo Hounds makes money

Bingo Hounds is free to use. Some of the links on our site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission from a bingo site if you sign up through us. It never costs you anything extra.

Commission never decides which sites we list or how we rate them. If a site’s terms are poor or its licence lapses, it comes off our list – whatever it pays.

Our safer gambling promise

Bingo should always be a bit of fun. Set a budget before you play, never chase losses, and use the deposit limits, time-outs and reality checks every UK-licensed site provides.

If gambling stops being fun, free and confidential help is available:

  • GambleAware – advice and support
  • GamCare – National Gambling Helpline 0808 8020 133, 24/7
  • GAMSTOP – block yourself from all UK-licensed gambling sites

18+ only. Bingo Hounds does not accept or promote gambling by anyone under 18.
