What is low deposit bingo?
Low deposit bingo simply means a site where the smallest amount you can pay into your account is low, usually £5 or £10. It’s handy if you only want to play for a short while, or you want to try a new site before you decide whether you like it.
There are two numbers worth checking. The first is the site’s general minimum deposit, which can be different for each payment method. The second is the minimum deposit for the welcome offer, which is often higher than the general minimum. A site might accept £5 from your debit card but ask for £10 before you get a bonus.

We checked each site’s own pages on 19 October 2026, apart from the notes marked with another date. Ticket prices are what the lobby showed when we looked, and they change during the day. Offers can change or end at any time, so always read the current terms before you deposit.

£5 deposit bingo sites
Mecca Bingo lists a £5 minimum deposit for debit cards, Apple Pay, Instant Bank Transfer and Paysafecard on its payment methods page. PayPal is the exception at £10, and Mecca says PayPal can’t be used for a first deposit or the welcome offer. Along with Ladbrokes, it’s one of two sites in our table where £5 is enough for the bingo welcome offer.
Kitty Bingo, Mecca’s sister site, shows a £5 minimum deposit for every payment method it lists, PayPal included. Its welcome offer needs a bigger first deposit of £10, though, so if you start with £5 you won’t be eligible for the £35 bingo bonus. Kitty’s terms also say that making a second deposit before qualifying rules you out.
Sky Bingo is run by Sky Betting & Gaming, whose general terms set a £5 minimum deposit for all payment methods. Sky’s help page adds that Pay by Bank has no minimum. To get the welcome offer you need to deposit £10 and stake £10 on the eligible games, and Sky’s help pages say the qualifying deposit must be made by debit card or Apple Pay.
Welcome offers with a low minimum
Two of the offers we compare start at £5. Mecca asks for a first deposit of £5 or more and a £5 spend on bingo, and Ladbrokes asks for a £5 spend on bingo tickets. Ladbrokes’ 2x wagering matches Foxy’s as the lowest of the offers here that have wagering. Ladbrokes’ site can’t be opened in our browser, so its terms were last checked on 12 October 2026, and the version we could read today was the Irish site, which shows the same offer in euros.
Most other welcome offers start at £10. That includes Kitty, Sky, Foxy, Buzz and MrQ. Sky’s £20 bingo bonus pays winnings in cash, and MrQ’s free spins have no wagering on winnings, but MrQ’s offer is for slots rather than bingo. For more on wagering, see bingo bonus wagering explained or our no wagering bingo guide.
Penny bingo: the cheapest tickets
A small deposit goes further in a cheap room. When we looked on 19 October 2026, Mecca’s Penny Lane, Kitty’s Penny Heaven, Sky Pennies and Sky’s DOND Multiplier room, and MrQ’s Pinch a Penny all had 1p tickets, and Ladbrokes listed 1p games too. Prizes in penny rooms are usually smaller, and some rooms have a cap on how many tickets you can buy, so check the room’s details before you play.
If you’d rather not spend anything, some sites run free rooms with real prizes. Our free bingo guide covers when they run and who can play.
Payment methods can change the minimum
The minimum deposit isn’t always the same across a site. Mecca’s PayPal minimum is double its card minimum, for example. Welcome offers often exclude certain methods too: Mecca excludes PayPal and Paysafe, Kitty excludes Paysafecard, and Foxy and Ladbrokes exclude e-wallets such as PayPal, Skrill and Neteller, plus prepaid cards. If you want PayPal specifically, check the offer terms before you deposit. Credit cards can’t be used for gambling in the UK.
What to check before you deposit
- The offer’s own minimum. A £5 site minimum doesn’t mean a £5 deposit gets the bonus.
- Single deposit rules. Foxy says cumulative deposits up to £10 don’t count, and Kitty and Mecca say a second deposit before qualifying makes you ineligible.
- Excluded payment methods. E-wallets and prepaid cards are often left out.
- Eligible rooms. Some offers only count spend in certain rooms, such as Kitty’s Main Event or Sky’s AOTG, Cash Cubes and DOND 75 games.
- Minimum withdrawal. Mecca and Kitty list a £5 minimum withdrawal, so small wins may need to build up first.
Keep your budget small, on purpose
Low deposits suit players who want to keep bingo as an occasional treat. Every UK licensed site lets you set deposit limits, and it’s worth setting yours when you join, at an amount you’re happy to spend on entertainment. Small deposits can still add up if you top up often, so keep an eye on the total. To compare welcome offers with full terms, see our best UK bingo sites page, or browse all our bingo site reviews.
