Bingo app ratings at a glance

Ratings are out of 5 and were checked on the UK App Store and Google Play on 18 October 2026. The number in brackets is how many people have rated the app. Store scores are rounded to one decimal place, as the stores show them.

The highest-rated bingo apps

On iPhone, Heart Bingo scored highest at 4.8, followed by Foxy Bingo and tombola on 4.7 and Sky Bingo on 4.6. tombola’s score is worth noting because it comes from almost 66,000 ratings, the most of any app in our table. Mecca Bingo also has a large following, with over 32,000 ratings and an average of 4.4.

On Android, Foxy Bingo led with 4.6 from nearly 13,500 reviews. tombola, MrQ and Buzz Bingo all scored 4.5, and Sky Bingo 4.3. MrQ’s app is listed as a casino app, but it includes MrQ’s bingo rooms.

Where iPhone and Android scores differ

The same brand can get a very different reception on each store. Heart Bingo is 4.8 on iPhone but 3.2 on Google Play, and Mecca Bingo is 4.4 on iPhone but 2.6 on Google Play. Sun Bingo goes the other way: 4.1 on Android from 221 reviews, but 3.2 on iPhone from just 12 ratings. A score built on a handful of ratings can swing a long way with a few new reviews, so it’s worth looking at the count as well as the stars.

One more thing we spotted: the Sky Bingo iPhone listing still describes an older welcome offer, so check our Sky Bingo review or Sky’s own site for the current one rather than relying on the app store text.

Bingo sites without a dedicated app

• Ladbrokes Bingo: we found Ladbrokes Sports and Ladbrokes Casino apps, but no dedicated bingo app on either store. See our Ladbrokes Bingo review.
• Kitty Bingo: there is an Android app (3.6 from 23 reviews), but we found no Kitty Bingo app on the UK App Store, so iPhone players use the mobile site. See our Kitty Bingo review.

Not having an app isn’t a deal-breaker. You log in to the same account in your phone’s browser, and your balance, limits and bonuses are the same either way.

App or mobile site: which is better?

An app can be quicker to open, can stay logged in with Face ID or a fingerprint, and lets the site send you notifications. A mobile site takes up no storage and needs no updates. If you do use an app, you can switch off marketing notifications in your phone’s settings, which many people find makes it easier to stick to their own plans for when they play.

How to download a bingo app safely

• Start from the bingo site’s own website and use its App Store or Google Play link, so you know you have the genuine app.
• Check the developer name on the listing. It may be a company in the same group rather than the licence holder (for example, Foxy Bingo’s iPhone app is published by Cashcade Ltd), so if in doubt, compare it with the link on the operator’s site.
• Make sure the bingo site holds a Gambling Commission licence. Our UK bingo sites A to Z lists the licence holder and account number for 30 sites.
• Set a deposit limit when you sign up or open the app for the first time. UK sites must ask you to set one, and you can lower it at any time.
• Only download apps from the official App Store or Google Play, never from a link in a text message or social media post.

App ratings vs player reviews

App store ratings and reviews on Trustpilot often tell different stories. App ratings tend to reflect how well the app works day to day, while Trustpilot reviews are more often about withdrawals, bonuses and customer service. Several brands with strong app ratings get far more negative reviews on Trustpilot, so we suggest looking at both. Our bingo site reviews sum up what players say about each site, and our best UK bingo sites page compares welcome offers with full terms.

Bingo app FAQs

Which UK bingo app has the best rating?

On 18 October 2026 the highest-rated iPhone app among the sites we compare was Heart Bingo, at 4.8 out of 5 from 11,097 ratings. On Google Play the top score was Foxy Bingo, at 4.6 from 13,497 reviews. tombola had the most ratings on both stores. Ratings change all the time, so treat them as a guide rather than a final verdict.

Does every bingo site have an app?

No. When we checked, Ladbrokes did not have a dedicated bingo app on either store (its Sports and Casino apps are separate), and Kitty Bingo had an Android app but no iPhone app. You can still play at both sites in your phone’s web browser.

Are bingo apps safe to download?

Bingo apps from UK-licensed operators follow the same Gambling Commission rules as their websites. To be sure you have the real app, follow the download link on the operator’s own website, check the developer name on the store listing, and look for the 18+ age rating.

Do I need an app to play bingo on my phone?

No. All the sites we’ve reviewed can be opened in your phone’s web browser, and you log in to the same account. An app can be handier if you play often, but it isn’t required.
