What does “no wagering” mean?

Wagering (sometimes called playthrough) is the number of times you have to stake a bonus before winnings from it can be withdrawn. A £20 bonus with 4x wagering means staking £80 first. Since 19 January 2026, UK Gambling Commission rules cap wagering at 10x, but even a low multiple can mean a lot of extra play. We explain the maths in our guide to bingo bonus wagering.

With a no wagering offer, anything you win from the bonus goes into your cash balance and can be withdrawn straight away. The bonus itself usually still has to be played. You normally can’t withdraw free tickets or bonus money as cash, and there are still rules about which games, how long and how much.

The offers in detail

These are the welcome offers as they appeared on 17 October 2026, with the significant terms in full. Offers change often, so always check the terms on the site before you deposit.

Sky Bingo has the clearest no wagering bingo bonus we found. Your £20 arrives as free tickets rather than cash, and the 10p cap means it goes furthest in cheaper games, but whatever those tickets win is yours to withdraw. You’ll find more detail in our Sky Bingo review.

MrQ doesn’t have a bingo welcome bonus. The free spins are for a slot game. We’ve included it because MrQ says every one of its promotions is wagering free, and its bingo page says winnings are credited to your account and can be withdrawn. If you only want to play bingo, the welcome spins won’t be much use to you. Our MrQ review covers its bingo rooms, including the free room for recent depositors.

tombola works a little differently. Its homepage says anything you win is yours to keep, with no complicated wagering requirements. Its first deposit offer is a 100% bonus up to £50 (minimum deposit £10), plus one Free Play worth 10p on slot games for every £1 deposited, up to 50. Free Plays expire after 7 days, and you have to accept the bonus when you make your first deposit. Real money is always staked before bonus money, and the bonus money itself can never be withdrawn. If you withdraw while you still have bonus money, you lose it. tombola also has a daily Free For All game for all account holders, including those who haven’t deposited. Its prizes have no wagering, but prizes under £50 are paid as bonus money and prizes over £50 as cash.

PlayOJO builds its whole brand around no wagering. Its bingo page says wins from bonuses are paid in cash, with no wagering or minimum withdrawals, and it pays 3% money back on every game. Its current welcome offer combines 50 slot free spins with 500 free bingo tickets (up to 10p each) once you spend £10 on bingo, so check the full terms on its site to see exactly what you need to do for each part.

No wagering doesn’t mean no terms

A no wagering offer is simpler, but it still has conditions. Before you sign up, check:

• What form the bonus takes. Free tickets, free spins or bonus money all have to be played, and only the winnings are cash.
• Ticket or spin value. Free tickets are often capped at 10p each, so they only work in some rooms.
• Eligible games. Sky’s bonus only works in three named games, and MrQ’s spins only on one slot.
• Time limits. These range from 48 hours (MrQ’s spins) to 30 days (Sky’s tickets).
• Who can claim. Some offers exclude Northern Ireland or anyone who already holds an account with a sister brand.
• Payment methods. Some sites don’t count deposits made with certain e-wallets or prepaid cards towards a welcome offer. Check the terms for the site you choose.

No wagering vs low wagering

Most bingo welcome bonuses still have some wagering. When we checked in October 2026, the sites we’ve reviewed ranged from 2x at Ladbrokes Bingo to 6x at Kitty Bingo. A bigger bonus with low wagering can still suit some players, but a no wagering bonus is easier to understand: you know straight away that what you win is yours. Whichever you choose, compare the full terms rather than the headline amount. You can see every site’s current offer side by side on our best UK bingo sites page.

No wagering bingo FAQs

What is a no wagering bingo bonus?

It’s a bonus where anything you win from it is paid as cash you can withdraw, without first having to stake the bonus a set number of times. The bonus itself, such as free tickets or bonus money, usually still has to be played and can’t be withdrawn.

Which UK bingo sites have no wagering bonuses?

When we checked on 17 October 2026, Sky Bingo’s welcome bingo bonus had no wagering on winnings and MrQ said all its promotions are wagering free. tombola said it has no complicated wagering requirements, and PlayOJO said wins from bonuses are paid in cash. Offers change, so check each site’s terms before you join.

Is there a limit on bingo wagering in the UK?

Yes. Since 19 January 2026, UK Gambling Commission rules cap wagering on bonuses at 10x. Offers can no longer require you to play different types of game, such as bingo and slots, to unlock one bonus.

Can I withdraw a no wagering bonus straight away?

Usually not the bonus itself, only what you win with it. For example, Sky’s £20 bonus comes as free tickets that can’t be withdrawn, but anything they win is paid in cash.
