New players make a first deposit of at least £5 by debit card, Apple Pay or Instant Bank Transfer (PayPal and Paysafe don’t count), then spend £5 on bingo. Mecca then adds a £20 bingo bonus. It has 5x wagering, so you’d need to spend £100 on bingo tickets before any winnings from the bonus can be withdrawn, and you have 30 days from when it’s added. If a ticket is bought with a mix of cash and bonus funds, any winnings are split proportionately between your cash and bonus balances. Bingo rooms and games

Mecca Bingo, part of the Rank Group, has 90-ball, 80-ball, 75-ball and 50-ball games. Payments and withdrawals

Mecca’s payment page lists Visa and Mastercard debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Instant Bank Transfer and Paysafecard. Credit cards and American Express aren’t accepted, Paysafecard is for deposits only, and PayPal (minimum £10) can’t be used for your first deposit. Most other methods have a £5 minimum deposit and a £5 minimum withdrawal. Mecca says most withdrawals are processed instantly and reach your bank within 15 minutes, with PayPal and all major banks set up for Fast Withdrawals; cards that aren’t take 1–3 working days. Winnings usually go back to the method you deposited with.

There’s also Mecca Cash Out: ask the support team for a withdrawal of £10 to £100 and collect it in cash at a Mecca club before 9pm the same day, bringing your membership card and photo ID.

Mobile app

The Mecca Bingo: Slots & Casino app is available for iPhone and Android, with bingo, slots, promotions and in-game chat. The two versions get very different scores. On the UK App Store it’s rated 4.4 out of 5 from 32,662 ratings – the most ratings of any of the nine bingo apps we compare. Opinions on Trustpilot are split: plenty of players leave glowing reviews, but a large share are unhappy. The Trustpilot page covers the Mecca clubs as well as the website, so some reviews are about visits to the halls.

• Players like: friendly and helpful club staff and support agents, the chat community, and quick payouts once ID checks are done.

Mecca Bingo is a good pick if you like to keep your spending small: the welcome offer starts at £5, Penny Lane runs 1p games all day, and there’s free bingo every evening. Players near a Mecca club get extra value from the £10 voucher and same-day cash collection. The 5x wagering is on the higher side, and the low Google Play score and many negative Trustpilot reviews are worth bearing in mind, but the iPhone app is very well rated.
